This is the first time in a 71 year history when India can win a series in Australia. Apart from this, Virat Kohli has become the captain who won the most Tests in South Africa, England, New Zealand and Australia. He broke Dhoni's record by winning 4 matches.


Earlier, by winning the toss, India scored 443 runs in the first innings with Pujara's century and batting performance. In response to the strong performance of Indian bowling, the Indian team put Australia on 151. Yorker King Bumrah hit 6 wickets in this innings.

Batting in the second innings, India declared the innings on 106/8 and set Australia a target of 399 runs. In reply, the hosts were reduced to 261 runs in 89.3 overs. Jaspreet Bumrah scored 3, Jadeja 3, Ishant and Shami 2-2 in this innings.

Jaspreet Bumrah was adjudged Man of the Match for his better performance in the third test match. He bowled 15.5 overs in the first innings and hit 4 over Maiden and took 6 wickets for 33 runs.
In the second innings, he bowled 19 overs and thrashed 3 Maiden and scored 53 runs and contributed 3 important wickets to make India's victory in the victory.
